Cane Creek's 40-Series sets the standard for performance, durability and value. Drawing from the premium 110-Series design, the 40-Series includes all the features necessary for a durable, lightweight, long-lasting headset. Precision engineered by Cane Creek in Fletcher, North Carolina, USA.

ZS44 (1 1/8") upper and ZS56 (1.5") lower tapered assembly Zero Stack headset features ZN40 zinc-coated, machined steel cartridge bearings with hardened steel balls. The new material is much more corrosion-resistant, which vastly increases the longevity of the 40 series headsets.

Innovative Clip-Seal completely seals the top assembly and captures the compression ring to reduce the number of loose parts.

Includes internally relieved 6061 T-6 aluminum cups and bearing covers to reduce weight, with a durable steel star nut and crown race with further integrated seal. Supplied with short 9mm stack height top bearing cover.

Great upgrade to make tubeless maintenance easier!

Great quality and very pleased with them. The Pro-Lite wheelset look really good and were very easy to set up - transfered cassette from previous wheel, fitted valves, put on tyres, added sealant and pumped up without any issues. Good fit on bike - did not need to reposition disk brake calipers for either wheel nor re-index gears. I like that they have sealed bearings and they rotate much more freely than the wheels they replaced. Bought to upgrade my 2015 Giant Talon 0 wheelset as the standard wheels were not tubeless and took a lot of maintenance to keep them working.
