The Ergon GC1 BioKork is specifically designed for bicycles with backwards-swept handlebars, combining the ergonomic benefits of the GC1 with the comfortable feel and damping properties of cork.

Backwards-swept handlebars change the position of the hands and wrists compared with conventional straight bars. The GC1's specially developed ergonomic shape supports this different hand position, helping to distribute pressure more evenly and keep the wrist comfortably supported.

The BioKork version uses a cork-rich grip surface with natural damping properties, helping to absorb vibration while providing a comfortable and distinctive feel in the hand.
