Schwalbe Clik Valve Kit Presta + Pump Head

The REVOLUTIONARY Schwalbe Clik Valve (SCV) is a bicycle valve system that uses a spring-loaded poppet, similar to a Schrader valve, for a quick and easy push-on "clik" inflation with a compatible pump head. It was developed to make tire inflation simpler and more intuitive for cyclists of all ages and abilities, and it won the Eurobike Award in 2024.

It doesn't matter which valve and pump you currently have - thanks to conversion kits for all existing bicycle valves and most pumps. To change the bicycle valve, simply replace the valve insert (Sclaverand, Presta, Dunlop, tubeless valve), for the car valve there is an adapter that is screwed over the valve (and can be easily unscrewed again to be able to use petrol station pumps). 

The pump head adapter can be integrated into the pump head of current pumps (by clamping or screwing in), even with hand pumps.

This conversion kit contains a new pump head(1) as well as the Schwalbe Clik Valves(2), valve core removal tool(1) and a newly designed dust caps(2).

KEY FEATURES

Easy inflation: The pump head clicks onto the valve with minimal effort and without threads or levers, preventing accidental air loss when detaching.

High airflow: Schwalbe claims a 50% higher airflow for tubeless setups with the Clik Valve compared to conventional Presta valves. This can make tubeless tire installation easier.

Durable design: The valve does not have a fragile Presta stem that can be easily bent or broken. The lack of threads on the valve core also prevents damage from screw-on pump heads.

COMPATIBILITY AND USAGE

With Clik Valve pump heads: For the easiest and most reliable inflation, use the system with a dedicated Clik Valve pump head. These are included in some conversion kits or sold separately.

With standard Presta pumps: The Clik Valve is backward-compatible with most standard Presta (SV) pumps that use a lever-locking or push-on head. However, it will not work with screw-on Presta pumps, and you will not be able to read the tire pressure.

With Schrader pumps: An adapter is included in the conversion kit to allow inflation with a Schrader (car) valve pump.

Releasing air: Air can be released by pressing the small protruding pin in the center of the valve core, using the edge of the valve cap, or a fingernail.

Inner tubes: Certain Schwalbe tubes are equipped with the Clik Valve as standard. Note that the valve insert is not compatible with Aerothan tubes or other TPU/plastic valve stems.
