📐 What Clik valve do I need ?
Clik Valve makes tyre inflation simpler: a compatible pump head clicks onto the valve and pulls off when you’re finished. The right product depends on whether you want to convert your existing valves, replace an inner tube or upgrade your pump.
Already have a Clik-compatible pump?
Choose a valves-only conversion kit if you want to convert more wheels and already have a Clik Valve pump head or pump head adapter.
For Presta conversion, your existing valves must have removable valve cores. Don’t assume every inner tube can be converted: compatibility isn’t guaranteed with TPU tubes that have plastic valve stems, including Aerothan. This is different from buying a tube supplied with a factory-fitted Clik Valve.
Want to keep your existing pump?
Choose a conversion kit with a pump head adapter. The adapter fits into the Schrader, or car-valve, connection of a compatible pump by clamping or screwing in. It can also work with compatible hand pumps.
Check that your pump has a suitable Schrader connection before ordering.
Want to replace your pump’s head?
Choose a conversion kit with a replacement Clik Valve pump head. This replaces the original head on a compatible pump hose, rather than fitting inside the existing head.
The pump-head kit and pump-adapter kit are different products. Check the individual listing’s contents before choosing.
Need a new inner tube?
Choose a tube supplied with a Clik Valve, then match the tube to your tyre size and required valve length.
Use the ETRTO size printed on your tyre sidewall to check the listed fit. Don’t choose by wheel diameter alone: tyre width matters too. If you’re unsure, send us your tyre’s size markings before ordering.
Within our Clik tube range, standard, Extra Light and Aerothan models offer different constructions. Compare the individual product’s specifications, fitting instructions and size range before choosing.
Will a normal Presta pump still work?
Clik Valves can also be inflated with a standard Presta pump that uses a clamp-on or push-on head. Screw-on Presta heads aren’t compatible. With a normal Presta pump, you can’t check the air pressure.
For the intended click-on connection, use a compatible Clik Valve pump head or pump head adapter.
Not sure which option you need?
Send us your tyre size, a photo of your existing valve and the make or a photo of your pump head. We’ll help you identify the right option before you order.
