This route is a mixture or quiet roads and bridleways.
Starting off down the amazing tree lined drive leaving the Manor's grounds and head down Tag lane.
The route crosses the A4 at the end of Tag lane and you head slightly left picking up Milley Lane.
Take care when crossing the A4 as it can be busy.
Following Milley Lane all the way to Waltham St Lawrence. At this point the family route and main routes split.
Here you take the left turn down the side of the church and then follow the road round keeping left until you join the first bridleway.
From here you head across towards Knowl Hill but just before you get there you take a right hand bridleway towards bottle lane.
Taking a short right hand stretch of Bottle Lane you then quickly take a left onto a lovely stretch of quiet flat country lane with stunning views.
Staying on this lane until it meets Westacott Way you then go left up towards the A4 crossing it at the round about ( again take care as it can be busy ) and turn right.
Quickly take the first left down Burchetts Green Lane. From here you steadily start to climb.
Take a left at Burchetts Green and then first right down Honey Lane.
Again there is a small climb up here. Follow Honey lane all the way until the road runs out and continue on the Bridleway. This then joins Pudding Hill. Follow the road round and take a right onto Warren Row Road.
Take the next left onto a unmade road Star Lane following this through the gates on to the footpath ( please dismount for this short section )
Then the final climb take the right bridleway above the old quarry into Bowsey woods.
Follow it all the way to the top. this is a slow climb but you are almost there....
At the cross roads at the top go straight across and then follow the path around and down the start of Bear Lane.
This is a fast short descent. Don't go to fast as halfway down you need to take a right hand turn into Yeldall Manor and the finish.
